Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Development Specialist to join our team at the UFW Foundation. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating community education and promoting local resources for individuals impacted by immigration issues. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement member and leader engagement programs to support UFW Foundation projects and campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to speak clearly in front of large groups of people. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and organization. A commitment to social justice is essential for this position.

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will coordinate events, promote services, conduct outreach and education, build partnerships, and collaborate with Communications staff to generate story collection and earned media coverage. You will also ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred but not required. At least two years of significant and progressively responsible experience in community education, event coordination, or developing grassroots leadership and power in local, state, and national campaigns is necessary.
