We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut.

Compensation: $143,750 - $178,875 (Salary range applies to full-time candidates).

Job Summary:

AAS Locum Tenens is looking for a skilled clinician to provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients in an ambulatory setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for taking detailed medical histories, assessing medical conditions, and interpreting findings accurately.

You will also communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other stakeholders both orally and in writing. Additionally, you will maintain timely, thorough, and accurate written clinical documentation, making evidence-based clinical decisions, and complying with department and organizational quality measures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing culturally competent care to a diverse patient population in a collaborative environment. Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records and other computer systems is also essential.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Valid State of Connecticut licensure
  • DEA and state narcotic registration, or eligibility to obtain
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
