Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide a team of over 30 field personnel, including service technicians, maintenance staff, door installers, and management.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage financial transactions, including deposits and expense tracking.
  • Monitor budgets and profit/loss statements.
  • Supervise fleet management and logistics.
  • Organize non-inventory supplies and maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse.
  • Participate in trade shows and community events.
  • Research and establish partnerships to enhance business opportunities.
  • Address customer feedback on review platforms promptly.
  • Facilitate employee one-on-one meetings, both in-person and remotely.
  • Provide performance management support to team leaders.
  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Support the development of apprentices and technicians through structured training.
  • Handle customer escalations and provide expert assistance to technicians.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and daily check-ins.
  • Collaborate with People Operations to enhance workplace relationships and morale.
  • Monitor fleet vehicle performance through video footage.
  • Manage technician schedules and ensure apprentices receive adequate training.
  • Verify employee timecards for payroll accuracy.
  • Conduct audits of work quality at job sites.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.
  • Proven time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge of garage door components and the home service sector is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work on a computer.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
