About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a Veterinary Technician in our Oncology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of the animal health profession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee appointments and manage clients throughout their visit, ensuring a positive and empathetic experience.
  • Participate with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures, utilizing your expertise to provide the best possible care.
  • Obtain and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Utilize various imaging modalities to assess patients and procedures, ensuring accurate and effective care.
  • Execute, monitor, and recover all assigned sedation and anesthetic events, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Provide unparalleled nursing care to patients, advocating for their needs and comfort throughout their hospitalization.
  • Maintain all equipment on a per-use basis, ensuring the safety and best practice care of all patients.
  • Knowledge of chemotherapeutic agents is preferred, with additional on-site training provided to support your growth and development.
  • Communicate extensively with clients, educating them on various oncology disease processes and providing personalized support.
About You

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Veterinary Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting. Your strong communication and organizational skills, combined with your ability to work in a collaborative environment, will be essential in delivering exceptional client service and advancing our mission.
