Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager - Pools to join our team at Magnolia Patio and Pool. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of high-quality pool projects, ensuring timely completion, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the functions of various departments, including estimating, scheduling, purchasing, accounting, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Leadership and Communication: Provide leadership and establish effective working relationships with project stakeholders, including homeowners, production managers, and subcontractors.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all work meets company and industry standards.
  • Material Management: Order materials in a timely manner, manage inventory, and ensure that all subcontractors have the necessary materials to perform their work.
  • Site Visits and Inspections: Regularly visit job sites to inspect work progress, address any issues, and ensure that all work meets quality standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit requisitions for subcontracts and change orders, send invoices for progress payments and final payments to customers, and maintain accurate records of project progress.
  • Team Management: Organize and train on-site staff, ensuring that they understand their responsibilities and have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Utilize problem-solving skills to address project challenges, adapt to changing circumstances, and prioritize tasks to ensure project completion.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pool Construction Manager or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of competitive pricing and options pricing for pools and pool features, proficiency in MS Office and Google apps, excellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Education: High School diploma and some college preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic attitude, positive mindset, strong sense of urgency, can-do attitude, and ability to work long hours if necessary.
