Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Roofing Project Manager to oversee all aspects of roofing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure teams follow all health and safety standards to prevent injuries and obstacles to project completion, and quickly report any safety regulation issues.
  • Schedule construction operations and create a construction timeline to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Forecast monetary needs for the project and accurately manage the budget.
  • Secure any required licenses and permits from appropriate authorities to ensure construction is up to code.
  • Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with clients, engineers, and architects.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate roofing projects, including managing resources and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all job sites.
  • Monitor project progress, quality of work, and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost control and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to roofing crews and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with construction project management software is highly valued.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills.
  • 1+ years of experience as a construction project manager.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish & English Speaking.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing or general construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, STACK, Acculynx).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
