Position Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for collaborating with physicians to deliver high-quality medical services, which encompass a thorough assessment, diagnosis, and management of both acute and chronic health issues. This role involves developing a personalized care plan with patients to enhance, sustain, or restore their health. Additional patient care tasks may be performed based on clinical findings. The position also includes contributing to the medical oversight of personnel delivering direct patient care, aiding in the training of staff in patient service delivery, and overseeing the professional and clinical dimensions of care provided at the facility.

Essential Qualifications
  • Valid and unrestricted license as a Physician Assistant.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Authorization to administer medications.
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or the ability to obtain these certifications upon hire through required training before engaging in clinical duties.

  • Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

  • Interpersonal skills necessary for professional interactions and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Advanced computer skills, including the ability to learn and utilize software applications relevant to job functions.

  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform under high-stress conditions while achieving positive outcomes.

Work Environment
