We are currently in search of a Nutritional Support Specialist to join our team, where our primary focus is on delivering exceptional service and care.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Nutritional Support Specialist, your duties will include:
- Assisting in the preparation, service, and delivery of meals and snacks.
- Supporting daily or scheduled cleaning tasks, which encompass work areas, tables, appliances, and floors.
- Aiding in the washing and cleaning of dishes and utensils, including collecting soiled items from carts, trays, and dining areas, and ensuring clean items are stored appropriately.
- Distributing and collecting menus, verifying all trays for completeness and accuracy concerning menu and dietary preferences before serving to residents.
- Ensuring that food and supplies for upcoming meals are available and assisting in the inventory and storage of incoming food, supplies, and equipment.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Completion of elementary education or demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and support agencies while maintaining composure under pressure.
