Position Summary:
A well-respected Clinical Laboratory is in search of a Medical Lab Tech to contribute to their innovative team. This position entails performing essential patient testing and administrative responsibilities that support clinical functions within the UNC Health Care System.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to patients regarding test preparation and respond to questions.
- Ensure the maintenance and functionality of laboratory equipment.
- Support the education of Clinical Laboratory Science students and mentor new personnel.
- Supervise daily operations within the laboratory.
- Collaborate on various team initiatives.
- Execute standardized testing, prepare samples, interpret results, and manage laboratory supplies.
- Document and communicate test outcomes.

Qualifications

Education:
● Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, Chemical Science, or Biological Science.
Licensure/Certification:
● ASCP or AMT Board of Certification is required within one year for specific degrees.
● Board of Certification is mandatory for certain qualifications.
Experience:
● Not required.
