At Schwartz Brothers Restaurants, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bakery Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks on bakery equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, using technical manuals and schematics to diagnose problems and implement repairs.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Collaborate with production staff and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Quality Control: Monitor equipment performance and quality control processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment, with a focus on equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of bakery equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
