Job Summary

This Manufacturing Technical Leader will be responsible for mastering the Production Technology and Maintenance techniques for an assigned production line, as well as leading the collaboration and coordination of Maintenance Technicians in the Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve repeat loss issues using systematic problem-solving techniques to determine root cause.
  • Support Shift Technicians in Investigation of losses (Breakdowns, Waste, Speed) to ensure countermeasure is effective.
  • Coach Technicians and Operators in quality and effectiveness of problem-solving tools and robustness of countermeasures.
  • Develop and implement basic maintenance processes for the designated product lines.
  • Build maintenance skills for Technicians and Operators.
  • Ensure all preventative maintenance activities are performed effectively.
  • Record maintenance details in full on the designated forms/SAP.
  • Report and action any abnormalities observed during Daily Task Maintenance/Planned Preventative Maintenance to reduce losses.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment.
  • Some PLC experience preferred but not essential.
  • 2 years medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
  • 1 year people leading experience preferred.
