System One is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team

As an Electrical Project Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical systems across various commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection & Testing: Diagnose problems, repair electrical components, conduct tests to ensure all newly installed systems and devices are operational. This includes inspecting electrical equipment, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Troubleshooting & Installation: Address electrical issues, install new wiring, update outdated systems, including lighting, fuse boxes, and generators. You will also collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex electrical challenges.
  • Training & Leadership: Provide training to co-workers as needed, manage multiple tasks, meet project deadlines, maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism. Your exceptional leadership skills will inspire your team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical systems meet local, county, state, or federal codes, legal, and insurance requirements, adhere to all project safety requirements. Your meticulous attention to detail will guarantee compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts while maintaining positive relationships at all levels. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will help resolve disputes efficiently.
  • Field Deliverables: Manage project documentation, including pictures, signed checklists, and As-Built drawings. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of electrical system installations, upgrades, and repairs.
  • General Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician at the state level. Your professional certification demonstrates your expertise in electrical work.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Lead or Foreman Electrician, and as a Commercial and/or Industrial Electrician. Your extensive background in electrical work has prepared you for this challenging role.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel for 1-3 weeks at a time throughout the region, work on-call, day, night, weekend, or overtime shifts. Your adaptability will enable you to handle diverse situations effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, SOW documents, knowledge of industry standards and current NEC requirements. Your technical expertise will guide you through complex electrical projects.
  • Tools & PPE: Own basic hand tools and personal protective equipment, certified to operate a BOOM or scissor lift and work at heights. Your commitment to safety will ensure a secure working environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to coach, motivate, and mentor field staff, excellent customer relationship and communication skills. Your exceptional people skills will foster strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Dependability: Reliable with a clean driving record, ability to pass pre-screening tests. Your dependability is essential for meeting project deadlines and delivering quality results.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other relevant software. Your proficiency in computer applications will enhance your productivity and efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving: Advanced troubleshooting skills, effective problem-solving, analytical thinking. Your critical thinking abilities will help resolve complex electrical challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment. Your focus on accuracy will guarantee quality results in all electrical projects.
  • Compliance: Ability to pass drug and background screenings, adherence to all applicable PPE guidelines. Your commitment to safety and compliance will protect both yourself and others.

Compensation: $30-$40 per hour, based on experience and location. Your compensation package reflects your value to our organization.
