Maintenance Supervisor

Orbia, a global leader in connectivity solutions, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team at Dura-Line, a premier manufacturer of plastic conduit pipes. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and direct activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion.
- Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies as needed, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and employees to optimize maintenance workflows and improve overall efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve work problems, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Develop and implement plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist all departments with machinery breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the production manager to appraise employee performance, addressing concerns and providing feedback.
- Minimum one year of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a strong understanding of AC & DC motors and drives, as well as 120/240/480v single and three-phase systems.
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to hot equipment, machinery with moving parts, and other hazards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols and regulations.
- Competitive starting hourly wage of $30.26 per hour.
