Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Relate Search. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Champion Change Initiatives: Develop and implement action plans to address operational issues and support ongoing improvement efforts.
- Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Manage Employee Time and Attendance: Approve employee time and attendance, ensuring accurate records and compliance with company policies.
- Optimize Production Processes: Analyze and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall productivity.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations, effective communication, and alignment with company goals.
- Recruit, Train, and Develop Team Members: Identify, recruit, train, and develop team members to meet current and future business needs.
- Allocate Resources Effectively: Efficiently allocate personnel, materials, and equipment to achieve production goals safely and cost-effectively.
- Uphold Company Core Values: Demonstrate and promote the company's core values, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Extensive technical or administrative experience in manufacturing, with a hands-on approach to operations and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Experience with Profit and Loss Statements and the budgeting process.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and motivate a cohesive team, with a talent for setting clear goals.
- Skilled in coaching and guiding others to achieve their full potential.
- Open to recognizing and implementing staff suggestions where appropriate.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, coupled with a positive and engaging personality.
- The role requires the ability to work both indoors and in various conditions, including extended or irregular hours.
- On the factory floor, the role may involve exposure to varying levels of noise and dust.
