Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Senior Supervisor to lead a team of Material Coordinators in support of our Planning Yard operations. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for managing Supply Chain work, developing relationships with customers, and ensuring the validity of material pricing.

Responsibilities

* Manage Supply Chain work in support of Planning Yard contracts
* Develop relationships with Waterfront and SSBA customers to understand issues and concerns
* Support material estimates in proposals and ensure validity of material pricing
* Interface with BIW Design, Engineering, Program Office, Estimating, Contracts, Planning, and Manufacturing functions
* Lead the development of key performance indicator metrics for departmental reports
* Establish and maintain work procedures, instructions, and management metrics
* Monitor and expedite Planning Yard Fabricated products to meet milestone deliverable commitments
* Support/expedite the Kitting and shipping process to support Planning Yard milestone compliance

Requirements

* BS/BA Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline
* 5+ years' Business/Finance related experience, with Supply Chain experience preferred
* Previous supervisory experience preferred
* Knowledge of Planning Yard organization and functions is strongly desired
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of and experience working with Navy customers (NAVSEA, SPAWAR, and Surface Ship Type Commanders)
* Above average skills with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Proven ability to work in a team environment
* Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize daily workloads and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Proven ability to manage complex analysis with minimal direct supervision
* Proven ability to compile large volumes of data into high-level presentations
