Job Summary

The Donation Center Attendant plays a vital role in the success of our organization by accepting and sorting donations from the public, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the safe and efficient processing of donations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greets and assists donors with donations upon arrival, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Processes donations according to established procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and health standards.
  • Assists with loading and unloading donations, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
  • Reports any incidents or accidents to the supervisor, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Adheres to Goodwill's guiding principles and values, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
