Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, operating radiographic equipment, and maintaining patient records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
  • Operate radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and fluoroscopy units.
  • Maintain patient records, including medical history, examination results, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure and ensure patient safety.
Requirements
  • Active IEMA license as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic technology, with new graduates accepted.
  • Knowledge of radiographic procedures, including positioning, technique factors, and image quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
