About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead our team in shaping the future of financial services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and set the technical direction of the team
  • Partner with engineering teams across the company to ensure maximum value to customers
  • Coordinate across multiple engineering squads to drive adoption and alignment with the Member org's technical strategy
  • Leverage experience and deep technical knowledge to provide leadership in evolving testing and deployment strategies
  • Coach team members in promoting career development
  • Effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand and prioritize needs
  • Drive the design, development, and maintenance of a scalable, identity platform
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the Digital Identity team
  • Manage a team of Engineers with a focus on improving and scaling our Identity member experience
  • Learn the various domains that fall under the purview of the Digital identity to support various SoFi Product teams

Requirements:

  • Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline
  • Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field
