Job Summary:
Coupang Global LLC is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data services and applications using open source projects. You will also collaborate with data engineers to ensure that data pipelines are integrated into the data lake using Airflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimization for data processing workloads.
- Design, develop, and maintain data services and applications using open source projects, including Zeppelin, Hive, Spark, and Redash.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure that data pipelines are integrated into the data lake using Airflow.
- Manage configurations and secrets required for data connections.
- Identify and resolve issues within the Kubernetes cluster and data services, including debugging code and addressing deployment problems.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively detect and respond to anomalies.
- Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure that infrastructure is reliable and secure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Software Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- 3 years of experience as a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect or related occupation performing software design, development, and implementation.
