Job SummaryThe Patient Advocate is a key role in delivering an extraordinary customer experience at our dispensaries. This position requires a knowledgeable and compassionate individual who can provide personalized support to our customers, fostering a climate of inclusivity, forward thinking, and generosity of spirit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and personalized experiences to customers, explaining the benefits of our premium cannabis products.
- Ensure customer questions and concerns are resolved promptly and effectively, communicating any issues to management.
- Accurately receive, coordinate, and fulfill customer orders using our Point of Sale (POS) and inventory tracking systems.
- Adapt to varying sales volumes, staying active and engaged, and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Meet or exceed daily sales metrics by following the customer experience selling cycle and offering tailored product suggestions.
- Assist management in ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
- Foster a positive work environment, treating colleagues with dignity and respect, and promoting a curiosity for cannabis knowledge.
- Must stay current with all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
- Must meet age requirements as outlined by the state cannabis agency.
- Able to pass background checks as required by the state cannabis agency.
- Able to accommodate varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- 1-3 years' experience in a cannabis retail setting.
- Prior customer service experience in a hospitality, pharmacy, customer services, or retail environment.
This role is primarily performed in a dispensary setting, which may involve exposure to odors, loud noises, and fluctuating temperatures. The position requires frequent communication with staff, vendors, and customers, as well as occasional interactions with law enforcement and state inspectors.
Physical Requirements- Frequently communicates with customers and caregivers regarding medical conditions and symptoms.
- Operates computer/POS system and other standard office equipment.
- Remains in a stationary position when checking in customers or operating the register.
- Constantly moves and transports dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, and walk as required to perform duties.
