Job Summary

The Patient Advocate is a key member of our team at Liberty Health Sciences, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in our dispensary setting. This role requires a unique blend of product knowledge, interpersonal skills, and adaptability to ensure our customers receive personalized support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance to customers on our premium cannabis products, highlighting their benefits and features.
  • Ensure customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Accurately receive, coordinate, and fulfill customer orders using our Point of Sale (POS) and inventory tracking systems, adhering to company, local, and state policies.
  • Stay active and engaged, adapting to varying sales volumes and customer needs, while maintaining a clean and organized dispensary environment.
  • Meet or exceed daily sales metrics by following the customer experience selling cycle, offering tailored product suggestions to customers.
  • Assist management in ensuring all procedures are followed to maintain regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment, treating colleagues with dignity and respect, while promoting a culture of curiosity and learning.
Requirements
  • Must stay current with all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
  • Must meet age requirements as outlined by the state cannabis agency.
  • Able to pass all background checks as required by the state cannabis agency.
  • Able to accommodate varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years' experience working in a cannabis retail setting.
  • Prior customer service experience in a hospitality, pharmacy, customer services, or retail environment.
Working Conditions

This role is primarily performed in a dispensary setting, which may involve exposure to odors, loud noises, and fluctuating temperatures. The position requires frequent interaction with staff, vendors, and customers, as well as occasional contact with law enforcement and state inspectors.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently communicates with customers and/or caregivers regarding medical conditions and symptoms.
  • Operates computer/POS system and other standard office equipment.
  • Remains in a stationary position when checking in customers or operating the register.
  • Constantly moves and transports dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, and walk as required to perform duties associated with functioning as a dispensary agent.
