About the Role

ABM Industries is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair facility structures, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Perform skilled trades work, such as general carpentry, painting, and repair or alteration of walls, rooftops, and office fixtures.
  • Work with responsible personnel to install or repair mechanical and electrical systems required in the production process.
  • Make periodic and special inspections of the premises to determine repair work necessary to maintain the integrity and safety of the buildings.
Requirements
  • A skilled understanding of the proper use of common hand tools.
  • A skilled understanding of the use of specialized tools and test equipment.
  • General understanding of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing concepts.
  • General understanding and ability to use a computer and digital information tools, such as productivity software, email, and databases.
