Role Overview
Pursue new business opportunities and expand existing relationships in the role of Business Development Operations Lead. Collaborate with senior team members to drive outcomes across a portfolio of clients and tasks.

About the Opportunity
Work closely with 2-3 senior members of Applecart's Business Development team throughout the entire deal lifecycle, from prospecting to close to renewal. Develop expertise in Applecart's value proposition, product, and business model. Prepare client-ready pitch materials, customized based on a client's specific business challenges and use cases for Applecart's platform. Utilize and manage our CRM (Hubspot) system to track activity, manage sales contacts and opportunities, and coordinate prospect outreach and follow-up.

Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience in a role related to strategic communications, public affairs, PR, or sales operations. Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Experience producing intuitive, client-ready business decks and memos is required. Experience using Hubspot, Salesforce or a similar CRM is preferred. Work from anywhere on Monday and Friday and in Applecart's New York City office Tuesday through Thursday. The estimated salary for this position is approximately $80,000-$120,000 per year, plus up to $20,000 in bonus/variable compensation based on individual, team, and company performance. The role reports to our Vice President of Business Operations, Zach Herz-Roiphe.
