Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor Assistant to join our survey field crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing topographic and boundary surveys, as well as construction stakeouts.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct land survey work using surveying principles and practices
- Operate modern survey equipment, including instrumentation and motorized equipment
- Clear brush, drive stakes, hold chains or rods, and record data
- Prepare sketches and maintain equipment as needed
- Utilize surveying software applications to gather, retrieve, and interpret important data
- Perform basic survey computations
- 0-2 years of related survey experience
- Experience with construction staking preferred
- Experience with Trimble and Access
- Ability to operate motorized equipment and possess sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various field conditions
- Valid Driver's License
