About the Role

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor Assistant to join our survey field crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing topographic and boundary surveys, as well as construction stakeouts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct land survey work using surveying principles and practices
  • Operate modern survey equipment, including instrumentation and motorized equipment
  • Clear brush, drive stakes, hold chains or rods, and record data
  • Prepare sketches and maintain equipment as needed
  • Utilize surveying software applications to gather, retrieve, and interpret important data
  • Perform basic survey computations
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of related survey experience
  • Experience with construction staking preferred
  • Experience with Trimble and Access
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment and possess sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various field conditions
  • Valid Driver's License
