About the Role
The Service Manager at Triumph will report directly to the Branch Selling Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the organization. This role demands meticulous attention to detail in P&L management and workforce oversight. The individual will also be expected to facilitate the delivery and installation of mobile offices.

Core Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations related to subcontractor relationships, coordinating deliveries, and processing purchase orders.
  • Support the Branch Manager in sourcing subcontractor work and onboarding new subcontractors.
  • Provide technical assistance at branch locations or job sites, including setup of modular buildings, furniture assembly, ramp and stair construction, basic carpentry, and troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Recruit and train service technicians, drivers, and shop personnel.
  • Establish baseline costs for standard operations and identify efficiencies to minimize expenses.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures in alignment with Triumph's commitment to a safe workplace.
  • Maintain inventory of materials and parts.
  • Set and uphold minimum and maximum inventory levels for parts, materials, and solutions.
  • Manage material consumption and remanufacturing through Triumph's work order system.
  • Conduct monthly inventory assessments of parts, materials, and modular structures (complex, trailer, and containers).
  • Order and receive materials through the procurement system.
  • Approve and allocate resources based on business priorities.
  • Evaluate and suggest modifications to policies or procedures.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary.
  • Attend customer meetings as required.
  • Uphold safety standards and adhere to Triumph's Safety Policies and customer safety protocols while on job sites.
  • Ensure the safety of all direct reports and subcontractors.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and facilitate toolbox talks twice a week.

Shop Duties

  • Clean and repair office trailers and ground-level containers.
  • Assist in maintaining the grounds, shop, and storage containers to ensure a safe and hazard-free work environment.
  • Notify the supervisor when units are clean, repaired, and ready for rental.
  • Assist drivers with loading and unloading as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with field operations concepts and principles.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to operate all company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and appropriately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting 50lbs or more.
  • Able to bend, twist, climb ladders, and maneuver into awkward positions while handling equipment.
  • Ability to work in environments with high noise and dust levels.
