Are you an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our maintenance team and drive operational excellence.

Position Summary: Responsible for directing engineering and maintenance functions to optimize financial performance related to the plant's capital investments, maintenance costs, production machinery, and fixed assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and communicate objectives and strategic plans for the maintenance department.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication across various teams to meet performance targets.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and personnel management duties.
  • Set measurable goals that influence short-term operational outcomes (6-12 months).
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the performance of the business unit.
  • Regularly engage with team leaders and external partners to ensure alignment with organizational policies.
  • Provide insights on personnel decisions including hiring, promotions, and performance evaluations.

Primary Duties:

  • Ensure compliance and effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs.
  • Implement and uphold 5S standards to enhance workplace organization and efficiency.
  • Develop and track short and long-term operational goals and action plans.
  • Assist in operational enhancements to reduce expenses and boost productivity through innovative technologies and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Plan and manage capital asset initiatives in line with the Annual Operating Plan.
  • Lead daily operations for maintenance staff, electricians, and technical personnel.
  • Foster a work environment that encourages trust, teamwork, quality, and safety while mentoring employees.
  • Ensure production quality adheres to regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Maintenance, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience in maintenance management.
  • More than 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in Automated Control Systems and PLCs.

Additional Skills and Knowledge:
Strong abilities in customer service, communication, organization, analysis, supervision, and leadership. Proven experience in budget management and large-scale inventory oversight. Familiarity with project management, capital project development, and cost estimation. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, 5S implementation, and World Class Manufacturing strategies is advantageous. Ability to interact effectively with regulatory bodies.
