Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Liability Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex cyber and professional liability claims, providing resolution of medium to highly complex nature claims, and managing total claim costs while providing high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex cyber and professional liability claims to determine coverage applicability and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective claim strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution of claims.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and senior management, to provide regular updates and insights on claim trends and emerging issues.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, including data breaches, ransomware attacks, and business interruption claims, to determine cause and extent of damage.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analyses for insurance company clients, including recommendations for settlement strategies and reserve adequacy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management, with at least 2 years of experience in cyber claims management.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a field related to risk management, insurance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in a relevant field, such as CPCU or CCLA, is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
