Job Summary

The State of Wisconsin is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at the Mendota Mental Health Institute. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive clinical dietetics program, including nutritional assessments, dietary care plans, and nutrition education services. You will also provide nutrition consultation to medical staff, patient unit staff, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical dietetics program
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and develop dietary care plans
  • Provide nutrition education services to patients and staff
  • Consult with medical staff and patient unit staff on nutrition-related matters
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian or eligible registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Certified Dietitian or eligible for certification by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
  • Training or experience providing nutrition assessments and developing nutritional treatment plans
  • Experience working in a mental health setting or with nutrition treatment models for clinical dysfunctions
