Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Control Manager to join our team at American Bridge Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and administering the Quality Control program for our Heavy Civil Construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Quality Control plans in accordance with USACE three phases of construction quality control.
  • Ensure all project personnel and subcontractors understand and comply with Quality Control requirements.
  • Act as primary liaison for Quality with the Owner's Contracting Officer, QA personnel, and other staff.
  • Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Review plans/specifications/purchase orders/work procedures to ensure requirements are met for each construction process.
  • Prepare and submit daily Construction Quality Control reports summarizing production, inspections, and other operations performed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years combined experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Graduate of a 4-year accredited college/university with a degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience with the USACE Resident Management System (RMS) is preferred.
