Job Title: Quality Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing a quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of high-quality products. This includes formulating and maintaining quality control objectives, providing inspection activity throughout the production cycle, and directing workers engaged in inspection and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and maintain quality control objectives to ensure continuous production of high-quality products.
  • Provide inspection activity throughout the production cycle to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
  • Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel in the organization.
  • Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.
  • Work with vendors to ensure quality of purchased parts.
  • Play an active role on quality management teams within the organization.
  • Design and implement quality control training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers.
  • Design, implement, and analyze all concrete mix designs to meet and verify all required specifications.
  • Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality.
  • Create and direct environmental test functions.
  • Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • Experience: 5(+) years prior experience in precast concrete required.
