Quality Assurance Specialist

At FactoryFix, we're seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services. Your expertise in inspection and quality control will help us maintain our high standards and deliver exceptional results to our customers.
Job SummaryWe're looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with a strong background in quality control and inspection. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, verifying product conformity, and ensuring that our products meet customer requirements. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in achieving our goals.
Responsibilities- Conduct inspections to verify product conformity and ensure that our products meet customer requirements.
- Perform receiving inspections to verify that incoming parts, materials, and related documentation meet requirements.
- Conduct first piece, in-process, last piece, and final inspections per sampling plans, product requirements, and job instructions.
- Perform customer-specific required inspections and complete inspection reports per stated requirements.
- Document, identify, and segregate nonconforming products in accordance with policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Make requests to suppliers for missing or incorrect documentation.
- Use appropriate measuring devices and automated inspection equipment to perform inspections.
- Interact with other departments in a professional manner to address product quality and service issues.
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
- Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Industrial Technology or Quality-related field: Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Industrial Technology or Quality-related field: Preferred
- Vocational Degree in a related field: Preferred
- 2 plus years of experience in mechanical inspection, blueprint reading, basic computer literacy: Required
- ASQ CQT Preferred or Educational equivalent: Required
- GD&T Basic Statistical Techniques: Preferred
- BASIC CMM usage: Preferred
