Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector/Manager to join our team at ROLINC Staffing (FRS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our CNC Machine Shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials and products to ensure dimensional, mechanical, visual, and performance characteristics meet industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry certifications and ongoing education to maintain our quality system registration.
  • Troubleshoot defects in both in-process and field returns to determine root causes.
  • Maintain our ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100:2001 quality system registration.
  • Prepare parts for customer source inspectors by coordinating required documentation.
  • Identify and communicate issues, offering recommended solutions for any dimensional, process, or quality discrepancies.
  • Perform 1st article, in-process, and final inspections, documenting results as required, adhering to aerospace industry standards.
  • Design, install, and evaluate quality assurance process sampling systems and statistical techniques.
  • Design, implement, and execute test plans/cases based on product functional specifications.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the use of standard precision inspection tools (CMM/Articulating Arm, micrometers, veneers, calipers, gage blocks, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings and digital-based definitions.
  • Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) and statistical process control.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Flexible and cooperative attitude, willing to perform additional duties within the scope of the position.

Physical Requirements and Hazards:

  • Ability to stand while working with machinery and sit for computer work.
  • Repetitive movement may be required.
  • Lifting no more than 50 pounds alone and assisting in team lifts of more than 50 pounds.
  • Compliance with established work schedules, hours, and productivity expectations.
  • Adherence to safety regulations and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Potential exposure to burns, cuts, and tripping; high potential for exposure to hazardous conditions.
  • Experience with gages (pin, block, thread, height, etc), calipers, and optical comparators (classical and digital)
  • 1 year of quality control experience in a CNC Machine shop OR in a prototype or production environment
  • Ability program CMM using PC-DMIS
  • Ability to inspect and test PLASTIC and METAL
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to pass drug test
