Position Overview:
- Assist in the formulation of the annual consolidated budget with an emphasis on headquarters expenditures.
- Generate comprehensive forecasts throughout the fiscal year.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements accompanied by variance and trend assessments.
- Conduct profitability evaluations for existing and prospective projects.
- Compile documentation for annual audits and tax submissions.
- Contribute to the creation of a five-year strategic financial plan.
- Support the generation of financial budgets and analytical reports.
- Maintain and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reports to evaluate organizational performance.
- Execute ad hoc financial analyses and address inquiries from management.
- Improve reporting and analytical processes.
- Ensure that compliance reporting and filings are precise and current.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA is preferred.
Experience: At least five years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in financial modeling and analytical techniques.
- Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, and graphical representations.
- Familiarity with GAAP, Uniform Guidance, and ERP accounting systems.
- Experience in the non-profit sector is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, handle/finger, and reach with varying frequencies.
- Occasional climbing, crawling, kneeling, and bending.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull up to 25 lbs.
- Consistent visual attention required.
Work Environment:
Standard office setting with controlled temperature.
