About the Role

Kaweah Health is a leading healthcare organization in central California, providing comprehensive health services to the community. As a Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Review and validate medication orders for appropriateness and accuracy
  • Consult with healthcare providers to optimize therapy and maximize safety for medication administration
  • Assure compounded medications meet quality standards and complete recordkeeping
  • Guide and direct pharmacy technicians, new pharmacist personnel, interns, and residents
  • Participate in interprofessional patient care rounds and set annual goals with manager
Requirements
  • Current California Registered Pharmacist license
  • Pharm. D. degree
  • Inpatient experience: Completed PGY-1 residency or at least two years clinical hospital pharmacist experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years experience
  • Emergency Medicine Pharmacist Specialist: one year of Emergency Department pharmacy experience and/or one year of hospital-based clinical pharmacist experience in the critical care setting
