Join the Department of Developmental Services - Headquarters as a Clinical Psychologist - Mental Health Services and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Job Summary:The Clinical Psychologist - Mental Health Services will provide psychological services to consumers in the STAR residential and Crisis Assessment Stabilization Team (CAST) mobile crisis services. The successful candidate will perform assessments, develop behavioral strategies, and provide on-site direct care, modeling, coaching, instruction, and training to consumers and their caretakers/direct care staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide psychological services to consumers in the STAR residential and CAST mobile crisis services.
- Perform assessments and develop behavioral strategies to support consumers.
- Provide on-site direct care, modeling, coaching, instruction, and training to consumers and their caretakers/direct care staff.
- Collaborate with providers and behavior specialists to develop prevention and intervention plans.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology with a specialization in clinical or child clinical psychology.
- California State Psychologist License.
- Medical clearance prior to being hired.
- Background investigation clearance prior to being hired.
- Drug screening clearance prior to being hired.
