The cybersecurity research conducted at Peraton Labs safeguards mission-critical systems and national cyber infrastructure through a diverse array of initiatives encompassing computer network defense, secure design methodologies, and cyber operations experimentation platforms.
Our projects encompass various domains of interest. Our core areas of expertise include (but are not limited to):
- Program analysis, focusing on program comprehension, vulnerability detection, and remediation
- Malware examination and reverse engineering
- Resilient networking to support cyber mission objectives
- Software-defined networking for cyber defense and deception strategies
- Artificial intelligence applications (including reasoning, probabilistic inference, and machine learning)
- At least 16 years of experience with a BS/BA; 14 years with an MS/MA; or 10 years with a Ph.D.
- Advanced proficiency or fluency in Mandarin Chinese
- Proven experience in leading classified cyber and cyber-physical research and development initiatives
- Experience in formulating advanced cyber operational concepts
- Experience in developing, testing, and executing computer network operations capabilities
- Expertise in designing and researching cyber policy initiatives
- Experience in recruiting, training, and managing cleared linguist-analysts and technical staff
- A strong desire to learn continuously and stay informed about advancements in the field
- Skilled in independent problem-solving and proactive in identifying and developing solutions
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Top Secret Clearance necessary

Compensation Range
$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other relevant factors.
