Position Overview: The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is inviting applications for a non-tenure track faculty role focused on plastic and reconstructive surgery. The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise in general and reconstructive plastic surgery, particularly in burn treatment, and will contribute to educational efforts at the medical center.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Educational Duties**
The faculty member will engage in teaching across all domains of plastic and reconstructive surgery, providing direct oversight in resident clinics.

2. **Research Initiatives**
The faculty member will spearhead clinical research projects in collaboration with medical students and residents, aiming to establish evidence-based practices in hand surgery, burn treatment, general plastic surgery, and surgical education.

3. **Professional Service**
The faculty member will participate in departmental and hospital committees as assigned and will be active in regional and national professional organizations.

4. **Clinical Responsibilities**
The faculty member will be responsible for the care of plastic and reconstructive surgery patients, developing a robust surgical practice with the support of departmental leadership.

Required Qualifications:
Board certification or eligibility in plastic and reconstructive surgery Completion of a burn fellowship Dedication to resident education and mentorship Commitment to clinical research and innovation Strong interest in burn treatment and general plastic surgery Experience in promoting a diverse environment or a commitment to fostering diversity Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited plastic surgery residency program ORP Eligible: Yes
