Overview

At Shore Stop, we're more than just a convenience store - we're a community hub where customers find a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of our store, ensuring a positive experience for every customer who walks through our doors.


Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and offering assistance with a smile.
  • Keep our sales floor stocked, clean, and visually appealing, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Upsell and suggest products to customers, enhancing their shopping journey and contributing to our sales goals.
  • Champion our brand by promoting our loyalty rewards program and highlighting exclusive benefits.
  • Efficiently manage the cash register, handle transactions, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and lend a hand when needed.
  • Take pride in maintaining a clean and inviting store, including cleaning restrooms, emptying trash bins, and refilling window washing stations.
  • Actively participate in keeping our outdoor space clean and welcoming, contributing to a positive environmental impact.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older (21 in some states).
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Effective communication and math skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Personable, positive, and detail-oriented with a knack for making customers feel welcome.
  • Reliable, responsible, and flexible with a willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
