Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for receiving incoming calls from current and prospective new customers, accurate and timely order entry & processing, providing information to customers as it relates to their account or orders, suggestive selling and professional problem solving in a manner that is fiscally responsible.

Incumbents are also responsible for effectively managing their time in a manner that generates additional sales, maintaining accurate contact information, and monitoring customer credit status before releasing orders to production.

Responsibilities also include processing orders via fax, phone, email, and/or those placed by the sales department, closely checking orders for accuracy, and professionally handling customer complaints from incoming calls or contacts through resolution.

Additionally, incumbents will initiate contact with inactive accounts in an effort to re-establish business relationships, assist in the maintenance of customer files, and perform other related duties as required.
