Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver legendary customer experiences by helping customers, building relationships, and providing service and advice to TD customers.
  • Understand and support the bank's customer service strategy by delivering end-to-end advice that customers expect.
  • Serve as a customer advocate by providing customer resolution, proactive tips, and insights on saving time and money.
  • Consistently execute appropriate behaviors to deliver a legendary customer experience that is unexpectedly human in the store.
  • Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow, warmly welcoming, discovering initial needs, and guiding customers appropriately.
  • Understand customer preferences with banking, educate customers on self-service options that meet their needs, and may act as a point of escalation for customer questions or concerns.
  • Perform a variety of teller transactions, including check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals, while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures.
  • Consider the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its customers, and stakeholders, and provide the highest level of customer service when dealing with internal partners, vendors, or customers.
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED is required; a 2-year degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity.
  • Teller experience is preferred.
  • Cross-trained to take customer transactions upon hire.
  • Superior customer service skills, strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work, work independently and within deadlines, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Language and Regulations:
  • This position falls within the definition of Loan Originator as defined under Regulation Z of the Truth in Lending Act, 12 CFR Part 1026.36.
  • Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under the standards established by Regulation Z of the Truth in Lending Act, 12 CFR Part 1026.36.
  • Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry) in accordance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), 12 U.S.C. §§ 5102 et seq., and its implementing regulations, 12 CFR Part 1007.
  • Satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check, and statements/certification from job applicant regarding administrative, civil, and/or criminal findings by any government agency/authority, are required by federal law for this position.
