Role Summary:
The Project Engineer II will assist in the execution of construction projects by applying fundamental construction principles and adhering to the company's best practices. This role involves engaging in various aspects of the construction process, including project management, quality assurance, and self-perform work, to gain a comprehensive understanding of project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in the company's safety and quality initiatives, promoting an injury-free workplace.
- Collaborate in project quality assurance and quality control planning.
- Participate in estimating and change management processes, including quantity take-offs and subcontractor proposal reviews.
- Support the project team on-site by monitoring crew activities, material usage, and equipment needs.
- Assist in preparing documentation for punch lists, inspections, and safety reviews.
- Maintain updated project drawings and specifications.
- Organize and contribute to project meetings, ensuring proper documentation is shared.
- Prepare various reports, including daily logs and progress updates, to assist in project tracking.
- Conduct site observations with project leadership to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Create and manage procurement logs based on project specifications and schedules.
- Provide timely updates to the project team to facilitate scheduling and planning.
- Aid in project closeout activities, including punch lists and operational manuals.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Implement project safety plans and foster a culture of compliance through training and communication.
- Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, and daily logs.
- Support job setup and project administration using company technologies.
- Manage subcontractor scopes of work in collaboration with the project team.
- Evaluate and enhance processes to control project costs.
- Participate in training and mentoring of junior team members.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of construction experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of construction technology.
