Speech Language Pathologist Outpatient Rehab Specialist

At Dignity Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Barrow Outpatient Neuro Rehab Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients for treatment, developing plans of care, establishing goals, and assessing progress toward the attainment of goals. You will also consult with other healthcare disciplines to coordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning for individual patients, and instruct patients and caregivers in home programs for exercises and functional activities.
The Barrow Outpatient Neuro Rehab Center is a local and national leader in rehabilitation, providing a team-based approach that includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Social Work, and Therapeutic Recreation. Our program is CARF certified for Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury, and we are nationally recognized centers of excellence for Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, and Huntington's Disease. We utilize cutting-edge technology as part of our therapy approach to enhance therapeutic benefits and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
* Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
* Arizona Speech-Language Pathology License
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
* American Heart Association BLS required
