Speech Pathologist - ENT Specialist

Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Department of Otolaryngology. As a Speech Pathologist - ENT Specialist, you will work with patients who have head and neck cancer, providing expert care and treatment to help them regain their communication and swallowing abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage swallowing, jaw opening, lymphatics, and speech disorders in head and neck cancer patients
  • Provide individualized treatment plans to patients with acquired communication and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary cancer teams and hold weekly collaborations with laryngologists
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology and head and neck cancer treatment

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology
  • Advanced skill set and expertise working with the head and neck cancer population
  • Current Arizona licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association or academic equivalent with clinical fellowship year pending completion
