We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Manager, Analytical Sciences Operations to join our team at AmplifyBio. As a key member of our Analytical Sciences Department, you will be responsible for managing a team of scientists and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and direct the activities of a team of scientists to ensure compliance with federal regulations, client requirements, and company procedures.
- Oversee the scheduling and execution of projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Analytical staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Collaborate with other department managers and supervisory personnel to ensure seamless preclinical study execution and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Minimum BS degree in Biology, Immunology, or related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting, with a strong background in analytical sciences.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with relevant regulations and quality standards, including US FDA/EPA GLPs.
