Position Summary

We are seeking a Youth Counselor Specialist to join our residential treatment team at UMFS. In this critical role, you will provide daily support and guidance to our youth clients, promoting their emotional and social development while navigating challenging circumstances.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily guidance and support to youth clients in a group home setting
  • Assist with meal preparation, transportation, and daily living activities
  • Facilitate recreational activities and outings to promote socialization and stress reduction
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents or concerns
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of direct experience working with youth in a residential or group home setting are required. You must also possess current CSAC certification. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle may be necessary for this position.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
