Position Overview

The Rallye Motor Company, a leading luxury automotive group, is in search of a dedicated Shop Foreman for Rallye Lexus. The Shop Foreman plays a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of service operations by leveraging all available resources within the service department. This position acts as a key intermediary between service advisors and technicians, while also serving as a coordinator and technical consultant for all recurring shop repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance customer satisfaction and foster repeat service clientele by guaranteeing that vehicles are serviced and repaired correctly on the first attempt.
  • Stay informed about Lexus products and services, maintaining professional and technical proficiency through on-the-job training and participation in training programs.
  • Ensure the service department is well-stocked with necessary equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Uphold the safety and aesthetic standards of the service department as established by Rallye and Lexus, as well as relevant governmental regulations.
  • Comply with all Federal and State regulations regarding automobile repair and consumer protection.
  • Assist in the distribution of repair orders and the planning of work assignments.
  • Monitor the quality of work in progress and provide assistance to technicians with technical challenges.
  • Offer technical guidance and repair procedures to technicians and service advisors.
  • Continuously seek to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Service Department through in-center training and technician coaching.
  • Facilitate the technical development of staff by organizing training sessions for service technicians, including participation in Lexus training seminars and workshops.
  • Support the Service Manager with personnel, facility, tool, or equipment issues that may impact productivity, efficiency, work quality, or customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate information and processes with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, Parts Manager, and Parts Counter Personnel.
  • Engage with customers to address complex vehicle issues that are challenging to diagnose.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and clean Driver's License.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lexus automotive technician.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Experience in supervising, coaching, delegating, and training technicians.
  • Familiarity with all shop equipment.
  • Proficient analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
  • Must achieve 8 ASE certifications upon hiring.
