About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Call Center Specialist to join our team at Lake Michigan Credit Union. As a Call Center Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, answering their questions, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist members with their telephone requests, answer questions about products and services, and resolve problems within your authority.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services based on member needs and articulate the features and benefits of products to callers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve member issues when necessary.
  • Prevent fraud by correctly identifying members using call identification procedures and report any suspicious activities or potential security breaches to the appropriate personnel.
  • Actively participate in employee-led coaching sessions with supervisors and take ownership of personal coaching goals.
