Job Title: Controls Technician

Stryten Energy is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team. As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining our complex manufacturing equipment, including machine vision systems, ultrasonic welding equipment, and automation systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex manufacturing equipment, including machine vision systems, ultrasonic welding equipment, and automation systems.
  • Work closely with plastic process engineers to identify problems and optimize injection molding machine performance.
  • Program changes to equipment as required for continuous improvement and new product implementation.
  • Validate and update equipment calibration procedures.
  • Develop and create electrical drawings as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong oral, written, computer, and communication skills.
  • High degree of electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to solve issues related to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical operations.
  • Experience with robotic control systems and ability to commission and troubleshoot equipment using applicable software.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Understanding of network topologies, protocols, and related equipment.
Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and MS Windows environments.
  • Understanding of Autodesk Electrical and RS Logix.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, Technical School preferred.
