Position Overview

RETAIL MANAGEMENT TRAINEE collaborates closely with the Store Manager to gain comprehensive knowledge of store operations. The primary objectives include: 1) understanding the daily functions of a retail environment; 2) fostering a positive atmosphere that prioritizes the well-being of both team members and customers; and 3) mastering the operational responsibilities associated with store management. The aim is to achieve proficiency in all aspects of store leadership within a designated training period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Providing the necessary leadership to cultivate a positive and growth-focused store environment.
  • Ensuring an exceptional customer experience that reflects the company’s standards.
  • Upholding visual merchandising standards, including product presentation and store condition.
  • Implementing and maintaining a structured prospecting strategy.
  • Overseeing all customer service operational processes.
  • Spending a minimum of 50% of scheduled hours on the sales floor.

Additional Duties:

  • Ensuring adherence to protocols for sales promotions, invoicing, and product delivery.
  • Facilitating daily sales meetings.
  • Reviewing and approving sales reservations.
  • Conducting monthly one-on-one meetings with associates.
  • Maintaining staffing levels in accordance with HR guidelines across all store areas.
  • Ensuring compliance with the sales process among all associates.
  • Managing performance effectively.

Position Type: This is a management-level role with an expectation of 40+ hours of work per week, including potential additional hours for high-impact events.
