We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Danville, Virginia. As a member of our home healthcare team, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving/enhancing the patient's well-being while following the established plan of care.
  • Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
  • Observe, record, and report to the supervising PT, the nurse supervisor, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current licensed, registered, or certified license to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice.
  • A current CPR certification.
  • A current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $$53,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. This salary range reflects the average annual salary for Physical Therapist Assistants in Virginia and is based on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
